Our Founders
Photo Logica was founded by Daniel López Pérez and Zacc Dukowitz.
Dani and Zacc have been friends for over a decade. They met on Lake Atitlán in Guatemala in 2012, when Dani was just starting his wedding photography business and Zacc was just beginning his career in digital marketing.
Today, Dani is one of the top wedding photographers in Guatemala and Zacc has an established career as a writer and marketer in the drone industry.
About Daniel Lopez Perez
Dani first started doing work in wedding photography when he and his wife were working at Isla Verde, a hotel on Lake Atitlán.
One day, they did a fake wedding photo shoot in which his wife put on a second hand wedding dress, then put the photos online, tagging them “Guatemala wedding photography.”
And then—miraculously!—a couple reached out asking if they’d like to shoot their wedding in Guatemala. Turns out, they had found the photo by searching online and tracked Dani down.
That couple became Dani’s first wedding client. Since then, he’s shot hundreds of weddings and grown his wedding photography work into a six-figure business, building a name for himself in Guatemala for his realistic approach to capturing weddings.

- Helps create our written and video content, inputting his hands-on experience to make sure we provide value for photographers in everything we do.
- Shoots photos and videos to include on the site.
- Conducts research with other photographers to ensure we’re creating valuable content that will actually help them meet their business goals.

He’s been making more than 5 figures for the past 5 years.
In 2019, he was recognized as one of 1 of 30 Rising Stars for Rangefinder Magazine in 2019. He’s also won other awards from Junebug weddings & Fearless Photographers.
His wedding photos have been featured in Condé Nast Traveler, the Huffington Post (twice!), and more than 30 other prominent publications in the wedding industry.

About Zacc Dukowitz
Zacc is an experienced writer and marketer who’s been working in the drone industry for over eight years, since 2016.
Zacc started working in marketing in 2012. At the time, he had just completed an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Florida, and he was looking for any work that he could do remotely so they could live in Guatemala—where he ended up meeting Dani and his wife.
After working in several marketing roles Zacc found a way to tie his passion for writing to his career, becoming the Director of Marketing for UAV Coach, a drone education company. At UAV Coach he became an SEO expert, helping build the website’s traffic to well over 100,000 visitors a month while also building his expertise in the drone industry.
After UAV Coach, Zacc became the Senior Communications Manager for Flyability, a Swiss drone company that makes drones for inspections in confined spaces, where he worked for over four years. He built the traffic there from 3,000/month to over 50,000/month, while also getting the company prominent coverage by outlets like VICE News and the Wall Street Journal.
